This week we equipped the whole kitchen with large pots and pans, a huge rice cooker, and bought big sacks of rice and lentils, and chickpeas, masaura (soybeans puffs) and beaten rice. We also got a ceramic water filter as the heavy rains at the moment are bringing up a lot of mud in the water tanks and it wouldn’t be safe to use this tap water. our Cook hasn’t joined the hostel yet, so at the moment the bigger girls are cooking for everyone. And their food is delicious!
